Newly refurbished offices with onsite cafe and parking
Derby is an engineering city first, home to Rolls-Royce, Toyota and Alstom's rail works, and to more than 17,000 businesses besides. It is easy to reach, too: London St Pancras is about an hour and a half by train, with Nottingham and Leicester under half an hour, while by road the M1 is junction 25 via the A52 or junction 24 via the A50 and A6. Our serviced offices in Derby are in the city centre, on Friar Gate and just off Babington Lane.
32 Friar Gate is a four-storey Georgian-era building on the street known locally as Derby's Professional Quarter. Friar Gate was the city's first conservation area and is lined with Georgian townhouses; Pickford's House at No. 41 is now a museum. Solicitors and accountants cluster along it, near the Crown and Magistrates' Courts, and the University of Derby's law school is at One Friar Gate Square. It suits firms who want a proper address, with meeting rooms and cycle storage in the building and the Bold Lane and Ford Street car parks close at hand.
Aspire House, off Babington Lane in the St Peters Quarter, sits between the Derbion shopping centre and the new Becketwell district with its Vaillant Live venue. It is a modern, lift-served, air-conditioned building with on-site parking, breakout space and a private kitchen. Derby station is a little over half a mile away and the bus station on Morledge is on this side of the centre too. Whether you want office space in Derby for a young company or an East Midlands base for a national firm, offices to rent with us come on flexible terms at one monthly price.
